IEI Technology-IEI Launches the PC/104 SBC with Intel® Atom™ N455/D525 processor and DDR3 support
IEI Technology Corp. (IEI),IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the global industrial PC innovator, has released the PC/104 SBC featuring Intel® Atom™ D525 processor and DDR3 support. The dual-core Intel® Atom™ D525 processor provides an increased speed of 1.8 GHz and supports 800 MHz DDR3 memory. Along with the release of the D525 series comes the PM-PV-N4551, a single-core Intel® Atom™ N455, able to satisfy a diverse range of field applications.
PC/104 is an embedded computer standard for applications requiring reliable data acquisition. The signal timing and voltage levels of the PC/104 form factor are identical to the ISA bus, with lower current requirements. The PC/104 allows modules to stack together like building blocks. The stacking of buses is more rugged than typical PC bus connections.
The PM-PV-D5251 is a fanless PC/104 single board computer (SBC) with Intel® Atom™ D525 and DDR3 support. The motherboard features an increased of processor speed of 1.8 GHz with no bump in power consumption. It supports 800 MHz DDR3 memory and a dual display solution via single channel 18-bit LVDS and VGA outputs. Key features include Intel® LAN and UEFI BIOS architecture which supports over 2.2TB of HDD storage on a 64-bit operating system.
SBCs with the new dual-core Intel® Atom™ processor D525 also include IEI’s unique One Key Recovery software solution. One Key Recovery simplifies the system backup and recovery process. In the event of unexpected system failure, One Key Recovery can create full system backup on demand or system recovery by restoring to a previously made backup with a single click.

IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the global industrial PC innovator, announces the launch of the PCIE-Q57A, a PICMG 1.3 Full-size CPU card with support for the Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7 processors with the Intel® Q57 chipset. It is suited to high performance applications for gaming, digital video editing, workstations and network computing where security and reduced system downtime are critical.
The IEI PCIE-Q57A is a standard PICMG 1.3 form factor SBC supporting 32nm Intel® Core™ i3/i5 and 45nm Intel® Core™ i5/i7 processors. The PCIE-Q57A excels in data and video transmission throughput with the on board Intel® Q57 chipset. A system maximum of 8 GB of DDR3 SODIMM 1333/1066MHz memory will satisfy the requirements of the most data-intense, multitasking applications.
With Intel® Active Management Technology 6.0 built into the Intel® Q57 chipset, IT managers can remotely diagnose and repair problems, as well as provide added security for the PCIE-Q57A. Data security and availability are enhanced by six SATA II interfaces with support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 functions.
