IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the global industrial PC innovator, introduces the latest single board computers (SBC) with premium Intel® Core™ 2 Quad CPU performance: KINO-G410 and IMBA-G412ISA. The Intel® G41 chipset is designed to handle massive computing and visual workloads, which enables the IEI SBCs to deliver advanced video and graphics performance and power efficiency. The IEI Intel® G41 series also features DDR3 support, transferring data at twice the rate of DDR2 to improve data delivery with less data loss and fewer delays. Advancements in video performance and transferring efficiency not only enhance the visual experience, but also deliver supreme video performance for industrial automation and security networking applications.

KINO-G410 is a mini-ITX SBC supporting socket LGA775 Intel® Core™2 Extreme/Quad/Duo and Celeron® processors with Front Side Bus (FSB) up to 1333 MHz. Dual channel DDR3 800/1066 MHz ensures data transfer with less data loss. The TPM V1.2 hardware security function is supported by the built-in TPM module. VGA and LVDS interfaces provide dual-display capability. The LVDS is supported by the VGA-LVDS-R10 convertor board and supports resolutions up to1920x1080.

IMBA-G412ISA is an ATX motherboard supporting a 45nm LGA775 Intel® Core™2 Duo/Core™2 Quad CPU with up to FSB 1333 MHz. The built-in Intel® GMA X4500 enables the IMBA-G412ISA to deliver excellent graphics performance. The IMBA- G412ISA supports dual channel DDR3 800/1066MHz up to 8 GB. The expansion slot supports a combination of either five PCI and one ISA or four PCI and two ISA slots, making it a highly capable industrial control system and well suited for other industrial applications.

IEI single board computers with Intel® G41 chipsets also include the latest recovery software from IEI called One Key Recovery. The software eliminates the frustration of system recovery after an unexpected system failure. The One Key Recovery function easily creates a full system backup on demand and allows system recovery by restoring to a previously made backup with a single click.

IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the global industrial PC innovator, releases advanced single board computers (SBCs) featuring the Intel® HM55 express chipset with the best graphic performance for mobile Intel® Core™ i7/ i5/ i3/ Celeron® platforms. The Intel® Core™ i7 processor is 1.56 and 1.6 times faster individually on CPU and graphic performance as compared with the Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T9400 plus Intel® GM45 chipset. The IEI Intel® HM55 series supports DDR3 800/1066 MHz SDRAM up to 4 GB. Additionally, IEI Intel® HM55 series SBCs support high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) connections, delivering uncompressed HD video up to 1080p resolution and uncompressed multi-channel audio in a single cable. 

The NANO-HM551 is an EPIC SBC supporting Socket G1 Intel® Core™ i7/ i5/ i3/ Celeron® CPUs. It includes a PCIe mini card expansion slot with SATA signal that supports IEI mini DOM. The NANO-HM551 supports dual display via various interface connection combinations such as VGA and dual channel 18/24 bit LVDS, LVDS and HDMI, or VGA and HDMI. The TPM V1.2 hardware security function is supported by TPM module. The NANO-HM551 features various I/O interfaces including five serial ports, eight USB 2.0, two SATA 3Gb/s, and audio.

IEI Launches -10°C ~ 50°C. Embedded System with the Intel® Atom™ processor E6xx series which Meets ErP Standard

Taipei, Taiwan, September 14, 2010: IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the global industrial PC innovator, today announced the launch of the ECN-001BT a wide-temperature embedded system based on the new options for the Intel® Atom™ processor E6xx series operating between -10°C ~ 50°C.

The IEI’s ECN-001BT embedded system includes the Intel® Atom™ processor E660T running at 1.3 GHz. The ECN-001BT features advanced ultra low power consumption, robust 2D/3D graphics performance. Its encode formats include MPEG4, H.263, H.264, and decode formats support MPEG2, MPEG4, VC1, WMV9, H.264 video compression support capabilities. ECN-001BT is a compact and ideally suited for use in digital signage, in-vehicle infotainment, multimedia device, kiosk, security surveillance, and point-of-sales applications.

ECN-001BT can be applied on high-performance systems that require motherboards with smaller footprints with better graphic computing performance. ECN-001BT supports dual independent display via 18/24-bit 1 channel LVDS with maximum resolution of 1280x768@60Hz and HDMI transmitted from SDVO maximum resolution of 1280x1024@85Hz.

ECN-001BT through Intel® Platform Controller Hub EG20T supports one SATA II for 2.5” 120GB HDD or SATA DOM, two SD slot facilitates, one CompactFlash® Type II card socket, and 4 x USB 2.0 connections to storage devices. This system has DDR2 800 MHz 1GB memory on board.

ECN-001BT has more features at Wifi module for data sharing, and Bluetooth, one internal antenna and one optional external antenna for wireless communication. The IR receiver is also designed within this system. Its compact size at 170mm x 136mm x 27mm (with HDD) is excellent for the applications in the critical space. The power input is 12 VDC on board with power adapter, and meet ErP (Energy-related Products) standard which standby power consumption required less than 1 watt currently.

IEI Technology-IEI Introduces AFOLUX GEN II Wide 15.6” Modular Expansion Panel PC

IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the leading industrial computing company, introduces the AFOLUX GEN II, an All-in-One Panel PC with a completely modular architecture and a variety of expansion module boards connecting through a common interface giving it a functional versatility. There is no need to purchases a new system, just customize with additional modules to upgrade equipment performance or suit specific needs. The AFOLUX GEN II can be deployed in varied applications and is especially suited to self-service and interactive environments.  

The first in the AFOLUX GEN II Panel PC family is the AFL2-W15A with a 15.6” wide screen and flat-bezel front panel. The AFL2-W15A is a fanless system powered by the high performance 1.6 GHz Intel® Atom™ N270 or 1.5 GHz AMD ASB L325 dual core processors. The system supports DDR2 SDRAM memory up to (max.) 4 GB. The AFL2-W15A provides rich expansion options by adding modules to the system main-board for system storage, PCI Express, parallel, serial and USB interface functions.

AFOLUX GEN II supports two module types which are easy to install with a customizable I/O bracket to fit different board connectors: type A (75 x 50 mm) including PCIe Mini card, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet and 4 channel video capture modules; and type B (75 x 80 mm) for serial extension modules. Function modules based on board to board design ensure system reliability for delivery and transportation applications. A universal USB dongle area has changeable brackets to support USB dongles of differing sizes. The AFOLUX GEN II offers a USB slot, CF Type II slot and SATA interface bay for storage options. 

The sleek flat-bezel makes the screen easy to clean and delivers stylish design. With only a slim 5 cm depth, the system is perfect for any public environment. The IP 64 compliant front panel protection resists water and dust invasion. The integrated RFID reader in the AFOLUX GEN II system allows for great efficiency, while the Mifare reader has read/write capabilities to update tag data in the field. Together these make the AFOLUX GEN II the most advanced of interactive asset tracking and identification terminals. 

The AFOLUX GEN II also includes IEI's One Key Recovery software to easily create a full system backup or recover from system failure by restoring from a backup image. The software eliminates the frustration of system recovery after an unexpected system failure. The One Key Recovery function easily creates a full system backup on demand and allows system recovery by restoring to a previously made backup with a single click. AFOLUX GEN II is a single system for different markets, especially digital signage, Kiosk, mobile broadcasting and surveillance applications.
