APC hosts Advantech, Microsoft embedded workshop

 

APC is organising a one day embedded workshop held in partnership with Advantech and Microsoft. The event will be held at the Trinity centre in Cambridge on the 21st of November.

"The main focus on the day would be a hands-on training on Windows Touch Panel PC Embedded standard 7 and a brief introduction to Windows 8. The other half of the day would be spent on different workshops focusing on the hardware and software aspects of the complete embedded system. The workshops will include; System on Module (SOM), Single Board Computers (SBCs), Intelligent Systems, Box PCs, displays, touchscreen solutions and new emerging technologies."

Microsoft and Advantech specialists will be available throughout the day, say the organisers, to discuss any issues that may arise. "We would also have APC team members around should you want to discuss your project(s) with a specialist."

It costs £40 (+VAT) per person, and includes lunch and refreshments (refundable with first order).
